Meet Kacey
I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). I work with individuals, couples, families, and youth who are looking to make changes in their lives. If you’re feeling stuck in a pattern you want to break, I’m here to help.
My approach is down-to-earth and practical. I believe that therapy should feel like a conversation with someone who understands where you’re coming from. I work with you to get clear on what’s holding you back and help you develop direct, actionable steps to move forward.
I work with clients to help them improve relationships, manage stress, or find more peace in your everyday life, I’m here to provide support and guidance in a way that feels approachable and real.
Education and Experience
I graduated from California Baptist University with my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. I’m a wife, mother, and come from a large, blended family, so I know firsthand the challenges and rewards that come with navigating different relationships and transitions in life. I grew up in Redondo Beach, and my journey has taken me from owning a professional organizing business to a successful career in real estate—both of which have shaped my understanding of the challenges that come with major life changes.
As a professional organizer, I helped people create order out of chaos in their homes. Then, in real estate, I worked closely with clients through one of the most significant transitions of their lives—buying or selling a home—and guided them through the emotional and logistical aspects of such a big move.
All of these experiences have given me a front-row seat to the process of helping people make meaningful changes. For over twenty years, I have been in a unique position to support people as they navigate those pivotal moments of transition. Whether it’s reorganizing a home, moving to a new place, or facing the emotional changes that come with it, I have had the privilege of being there as people step into new chapters of their lives.
For me, working with individuals, couples, and families as they go through change is not just something I’m good at—it’s what feels like home. It’s my comfort zone, and it’s truly a privilege to be part of those transformative moments in people’s lives.
