Meet Emily

I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who is deeply passionate about how people connect: both with themselves and with others. I work with individuals during pivotal stages of life, specifically adolescence and young adulthood. These are times when your sense of self, relationships, and life direction are still taking shape, and it’s common to feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. I also love working with couples who want to strengthen communication, feel more emotionally connected, and better understand the patterns from their past that influence their relationship.

Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, overthinking, low self-esteem, questions around purpose, life transitions, or relationship stress. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you can feel genuinely seen and begin creating meaningful and lasting change.

My approach is holistic and person-centered. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to be yourself, while I am also gently direct when helpful. I work collaboratively with my clients to build insight, strengthen the mind-body connection, and move toward more fulfilling lives and relationships.

Education and Experience

Originally from Philadelphia, I have proudly called the South Bay home for many years. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy hot yoga, walking along the strand, and playing beach volleyball. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and began my clinical work in a school setting, supporting children and teens navigating emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent 8 years in the corporate world. That experience gave me meaningful insight into the pressures many young adults face, including major life transitions, career stress, and the challenges of balancing relationships and personal expectations. My own experience in therapy during adolescence and early adulthood also played an important role in shaping my path, giving me a firsthand understanding of how powerful it can be to feel truly seen during formative stages of life. Together, these personal and professional experiences continue to inform the way I support my clients today.
